"'Subsumed under the bodhisattva's Dharma treasury, and sealed with the seal of dhāraṇī.'" / This second clarifies that the bodhisattva's Dharma teaching is not of the Small Vehicle. As for "the seal of dhāraṇī," the principle devoid of name and mark is explained by means of conventional names and marks; speaking all day of names, there are no names, and speaking all day of marks, there are no marks—this is the seal of dhāraṇī. Thus the Suvikrāntavikrāmiparipṛcchā says: "Dhāraṇī is without letters; letters reveal dhāraṇī. Through the power of prajñā and great compassion, it is taught apart from words and letters." Furthermore, being identical to names while free of names, and identical to marks while free of marks, it is also called the seal of the true mark. / Sengzhao says: "Being subsumed under the bodhisattva's Dharma treasury, it is certainly not a treasure of the Small Vehicle. Being sealed by dhāraṇī, it is certainly not the path within the conjured city. What is sealed by dhāraṇī is necessarily true; what is subsumed under the Dharma treasury is necessarily precious. How could ordinary people open and reveal it? This shows that the Dharma treasure is profound and solid, difficult to fathom."
