佛知其深心所念。而記之曰。汝於末後守護法城　八明受記。什曰。欲令後人信伏故記其守護法藏。

"The Buddha knew the thoughts of his profound mind and gave him a prophecy, saying: 'In the final period, you shall protect the citadel of the Dharma.'" / Eighth is clarifying the bestowal of the prophecy. / Kumārajīva says: "Wishing to make later people faithfully submit, he prophesied that he would protect the Dharma treasury."
