The Bodhisattva Puṣya said, "The wholesome and the unwholesome constitute duality. If one does not give rise to the wholesome or the unwholesome, enters the limit of the unconditioned (the absence of characteristics), and penetrates it thoroughly, this is entering the dharma gate of non-duality."
Sengzhao says, "Puṣya is the name of a star (constellation)." Kumārajīva says, "He was named after the constellation encountered at his birth. The unwholesome refers to the ten unvirtuous actions; the wholesome refers to the ten virtuous actions and nirvāṇa."
