The Bodhisattva Pratyakṣadarśana said, "The exhausted and the unexhausted constitute duality. Whether dharmas are ultimately exhausted or unexhausted, all are the mark of the inexhaustible. The mark of the inexhaustible is emptiness itself; in emptiness there is neither the mark of the exhausted nor of the unexhausted. One who enters in this way enters the dharma gate of non-duality."
Sengzhao says, "Conditioned, deceptive dharmas are impermanent, hence called exhausted. Dharmas of the true mark, the unconditioned, are eternal, hence unexhausted. If one regards the exhausted as exhausted and the unexhausted as unexhausted, both are dualities. If one can realize that the exhausted and the unexhausted both have the mark of the inexhaustible, one enters the non-dual gate of emptiness."
