"Not destroying deportment yet able to accord with worldly ways; giving rise to supernormal powers and wisdom to guide sentient beings; attaining mindfulness and dhāraṇī so that what is heard is not forgotten; skillfully distinguishing the various faculties to sever the doubts of sentient beings; with the eloquence of joyful speech expounding the Dharma without hindrance." Not destroying the dharmakāya while manifesting supernormal powers to benefit beings is the transformation through bodily karma. Right mindfulness and dhāraṇī, hearing much without forgetting, is the transformation through mental karma. Distinguishing the various faculties, severing doubts, and joyful speech is the transformation through vocal karma. These are the mahāsattva's three mysteries. As for 'not destroying deportment,' Zhao says: "Accord with worldly bowing and rising without losing the deportment of the Way. All under heaven say I am the same as them, yet I alone am distinct from other people. 'Eloquence of joyful speech' refers to the four kinds of unhindered eloquence."
