初統明諸經不思議權實之道。二就群生長寢下別明此經權實本迹大體。三大秦天王下辯譯由始。四餘以闇短下明注解之意。

First, comprehensively clarifying the inconceivable path of the provisional and the ultimate across all sūtras. Second, from 'Concerning how sentient beings long slumber' onward, separately clarifying the general substance of the provisional and ultimate, fundamental and trace, of this sūtra. Third, from 'The Heavenly King of the Great Qin' onward, distinguishing the origins of the translation. Fourth, from 'I, with my dimness and deficiency' onward, clarifying the purpose of the commentary.
