"Having formed these thoughts, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva immediately emits from between his eyebrows the light of the ūrṇā mark of a great man. When this light appears, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's bodily marks are dignified and majestic—upright, subtle, and wondrous like a mountain of purple gold—fully endowed with the thirty-two marks. From all the pores of his body he radiates great light, illuminating the great elephant to make it golden, all the manifested elephants to make them golden, and the manifested bodhisattvas to make them golden. That golden light illuminates immeasurable worlds in the east, making them all alike golden; the south, west, north, four intermediate directions, zenith, and nadir are also like this.
