九十波夜提　或言。燒熱地獄中燒熱也。或言。墮惡墮惡趣。或言。障障聖道也。無物可捨故。但言墮也。高床鐵筒大坐具等。應用而異事在後也。

Ninety pāyattikas.
Some say: 'Burning heat' (pāyattika), because of burning heat in the hells. Some say: 'Falling into evil', because of falling into bad destinies. Some say: 'Obstruction', because it obstructs the noble path. Because there is no object to be forfeited, it is simply called 'falling' (pāyattika). High beds, iron tubes, large sitting mats, and the like are handled differently in practical application, as explained later.
