展轉淨施法（應請一比丘多聞持戒有德名聞者為施主。若是大者應禮足䠒跪合掌請。若小者除禮足。比丘尼戒叉摩那沙彌沙彌尼並得。若是比丘請云）大德一心念。我比丘某甲。今請大德為衣藥鉢展轉淨施主。願大德為我作衣藥鉢展轉淨施主。慈愍故（三說。自此已後應對一比丘說淨。然不得對施主面說淨。又不得語令知）。

Procedure for Vicarious Pure Donation: (One should invite a bhikṣu who is learned, upholds the precepts, is virtuous, and widely renowned, to act as the donor-trustee. If he is an elder, one should pay homage to his feet, kneel, join hands, and invite him; if he is junior, omit paying homage to his feet. Bhikṣuṇīs, śikṣamāṇās, śrāmaṇeras, and śrāmaṇerīs are all permissible. If inviting a bhikṣu, say:) "Bhadanta, focus your mind! I, Bhikṣu So-and-so, now invite the bhadanta to be my donor-trustee for vicarious pure donation of robes, medicine, and bowl. May the bhadanta act as my donor-trustee for vicarious pure donation of robes, medicine, and bowl out of compassion!" (Spoken three times. From this time onward, one should declare pure donation facing a single bhikṣu; however, one must not declare pure donation directly to the face of the donor-trustee, nor inform him so as to let him know.)
