經。是盧舍那至受持戒　釋曰。第二有五頌半誡聽勸持。此中有五。一有一行頌歎勝勸持。二有兩句勸持傳說。三有三句誡聽。四有兩行三句勸信。五有兩句結勸。此即第一歎勝勸持。上二句歎勝本身所誦此戒勝也。後二句勸持戒法尊重可以以頂戴。

Sūtra: “This Locana […] receive and uphold the precepts.” / Commentary: The second part consists of five and a half stanzas admonishing them to listen and exhorting them to uphold [the precepts]. Here there are five parts: first, one stanza praising their excellence and exhorting to uphold them; second, two lines exhorting to uphold and transmit them; third, three lines admonishing them to listen; fourth, two stanzas and three lines exhorting faith; fifth, two lines of concluding exhortation. This is the first: praising their excellence and exhorting to uphold them. The upper two lines praise their excellence: these precepts chanted by the fundamental body are supreme. The lower two lines exhort them to uphold the precepts: the Dharma is venerable and should be borne on the crown of the head.
