1.23

經。大眾心諦信至已成佛　釋曰。第四勸信有三。一有三句信已當成佛。二有一行頌信戒具足。三有一行頌信同佛位。此即第一信已。當成佛信此戒故我當成佛。

Sūtra: “Let the great assembly have true faith in their minds […] have already attained Buddhahood.” / Commentary: Fourth is exhorting faith, having three parts: first, three lines on having faith that one will attain Buddhahood; second, one stanza on having faith in the completeness of the precepts; third, one stanza on having faith in equality with the Buddha stage. This is the first: having faith that one will attain Buddhahood; because of believing in these precepts, I will attain Buddhahood.
