第十七復次明無想等至分三。一問。二略答。三明作意分二。一問。二答分七。一明作意。二明觀過。三明見勝。四明漸次。五明因位。六明果位。七明退位。

The seventeenth 'furthermore' explains the mindless attainment (asaṃjñi-samāpatti), divided into three: 1. question; 2. brief answer; 3. explaining attention, divided into two: (1) question; (2) answer, divided into seven: a. explaining attention; b. explaining the observation of faults; c. explaining the perception of superiority; d. explaining the gradual progression; e. explaining the stage of cause; f. explaining the stage of fruit; g. explaining the stage of regression.
