Fourth, explaining the meaning of 'treatise' (śāstra) is divided into three: 1. General statement; 2. Particular explanation, divided into three, these three all having doctrines and similes: i. Based on the stages of training and beyond training; ii. Based on unerring exposition; iii. Based on the meaning of increase; 3. Concluding summary.
