The fifth alternative approach explains the characteristics of cultivating the applications of mindfulness based on taking consciousness as the objective condition and not taking consciousness as the objective condition, in two parts: general statement; specific explanation, in four parts: explaining contemplation of the internal body, explaining contemplation of the external body, explaining contemplation of the internal and external body, and illustrating the remaining three contemplations by analogy. The sixth alternative approach explains the characteristics of cultivating the applications of mindfulness based on the hair and so forth of one's own and others' bodies, in two parts: general statement; specific explanation, in four parts, the same as before; 3. general conclusion.
