四種所緣中第二明淨行所緣境事分四。一總問。二略答列名。三廣解。四總結　廣解分五。一明不淨所緣差別。二明慈愍所緣差別。三明緣起所緣差別。四明界所差別。五明出入息念所緣差別。

Among the four kinds of focal objects, the second part, which explains the focal objective entities for purifying conduct, is divided into four: 1. general question; 2. brief answer listing the names; 3. detailed explanation; 4. general conclusion. The detailed explanation is divided into five: 1. explaining the distinctions in the focal object of impurity; 2. explaining the distinctions in the focal object of loving-kindness; 3. explaining the distinctions in the focal object of dependent origination; 4. explaining the distinctions in the focal object of the elements (dhātu); 5. explaining the distinctions in the focal object of mindfulness of inhalation and exhalation (ānāpānasmṛti).
