初持瑜伽處分十八中。第九明施品分六。一總明修六度意趣分三。一立因。二顯果。三列六度分。二總別問施度。三頌略答分九如論。四長行略釋分二。一標。二釋。第五廣解分九。

Within the eighteen sections of the first station of yoga, the Bodhisattvabhūmi: the ninth, Explaining the Chapter on Giving (Dānapaṭala), has six parts: 1. generally explaining the intent of cultivating the six perfections, which has three parts: (1) establishing the cause, (2) revealing the fruit, (3) listing the divisions of the six perfections; 2. general and specific inquiry into the perfection of giving; 3. brief reply in verse, which has nine parts, as in the treatise; 4. brief explanation in prose, which has two parts: (1) marking out, (2) explaining; 5. detailed explanation, which has nine parts.
