In the fourth [section], the detailed explanation, which is divided into nine, the sixth [part], explaining all-aspects patience, has three [subdivisions]: 1. General question; 2. Brief answer; 3. Detailed explanation, which has two [parts]: a. Explaining the characteristics of the six kinds of patience, having two [aspects]: i. General question; ii. Detailed answer, having three [parts]: (a) Explaining all-aspects patience based on what is shared with the world, having three [divisions]: (i) Explaining all-aspects patience based on fear of disagreeable maturation, having two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; (ii) Explaining all-aspects patience based on pity, etc., having two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; (iii) Explaining all-aspects patience based on unexcelled awakening, having two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; (b) Explaining all-aspects patience based on what is shared with the disciples (śrāvakas), having two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; (c) Explaining all-aspects patience based on what is shared with bodhisattvas, having two [aspects]: (i) Explaining all-aspects patience based on the endowment of the spiritual lineage (gotra), having two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; (ii) Explaining all-aspects patience based on knowing that all dharmas are devoid of self, having two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; b. The second [part], explaining the characteristics of the seven kinds of patience, has two [aspects]: i. General question; ii. Detailed answer, having seven [divisions]: (a) Explaining all-aspects patience based on the differences of matters, having two [parts]: indication and explanation; (b) Explaining all-aspects patience based on the differences of places, having two [parts]: indication and explanation; (c) Explaining all-aspects patience based on the differences of times, having two [parts]: indication and explanation, divided into eight as in the treatise; (d) Explaining all-aspects patience based on the differences of states, divided into four as in the treatise; (e) Explaining all-aspects patience based on the differences of bodily actions, having two [parts]: indication and explanation; (f) Explaining all-aspects patience based on the differences of vocal actions, having two [parts]: indication and explanation; (g) Explaining all-aspects patience based on the differences of mental actions, having two [parts]: indication and explanation, the latter divided into two: explaining the patience of mental action based on active manifestation, and explaining the patience of mental action based on seeds.
