Within the third [section], the extensive explanation in seventeen [parts], the thirteenth, explaining the method for disclosing, repenting, and eradicating [faults], has three parts: 1. explaining what category of offense the forty-four training rules including pārājikā are subsumed under; 2. explaining the place of disclosure; 3. explaining the method for eliminating offenses, with four parts: (1) explaining the method of restoring purity for committing a pārājikā with upper entanglement; (2) explaining the method of restoring purity for committing a pārājikā with middling entanglement, with five parts: a. presenting the committed fault, b. establishing the number of persons, c. listing the offense names, d. explaining the ritual procedure, e. citing an analogy; (3) explaining the method of restoring purity for committing a pārājikā with lower entanglement and committing other duṣkṛta [faults], with three parts: a. presenting the committed fault, b. establishing the number of persons, c. explaining the ritual procedure; (4) explaining the method of dispelling offenses by oneself when no one is present, with three parts: a. explaining the characteristics of the absence of a place of confession, b. explaining the ritual procedure, c. concluding.
