戒品第四廣解分九中第八明此世他世樂戒分五。一總問。二略答。三別釋分二　一依四法明二世樂戒分二。一明正義分四。一依遮諸有情苦因明二世樂戒。二依開許樂因明二世樂戒。三依已入樂因而正攝受明二世樂戒。四依調伏入邪因有情明二世樂戒。二明總結　第二依施等五法明二世樂戒分二。一明正義分五。一依施相應戒明二世樂戒。二依忍相應戒明二世樂戒。三依精進相應戒明二世樂戒。四依靜慮相應戒明二世樂戒。五依般若相應戒明二世樂戒。二明總結　第四明二世樂義　戒五明總結。

Within the nine sections of the detailed explanation in Chapter Four on Morality, the eighth section, on morality for happiness in this life and the next, has five parts: 1. general question; 2. brief answer; 3. separate explanation, which has two parts: [First,] explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on the four factors, which has two parts: (1) explaining the correct meaning, with four parts: i. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on preventing the causes of suffering for sentient beings, ii. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on permitting the causes of happiness, iii. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on correctly adopting [practices] having entered the causes of happiness, iv. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on subduing sentient beings who have entered into mistaken causes; (2) general conclusion; Second, explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on the five factors of giving and the rest, which has two parts: (1) explaining the correct meaning, with five parts: i. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on morality associated with giving, ii. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on morality associated with patience, iii. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on morality associated with diligence, iv. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on morality associated with meditative absorption (dhyāna), v. explaining the morality for happiness in both lives based on morality associated with wisdom (prajñā); (2) general conclusion; 4. explaining the meaning of happiness in both lives; 5. general conclusion.
