第三長行廣解分十六中第十二依方便善巧明菩提分法分五。一總問。二略答。三列名分二。一列內名。二列外名。四別釋。五總結及勝利　第四別釋分二。一明內修證一切佛法六種善巧方便。二明外成熟一切有情六種善巧方便。

In the third main section, the detailed explanation in prose, which has sixteen [parts], the twelfth explains the factors conducive to awakening based on skill in means, divided into five: 1. general inquiry, 2. brief answer, 3. enumeration of terms, divided into two: (1) enumerating internal terms, (2) enumerating external terms; 4. specific explanation, 5. general conclusion and benefits. The fourth, the specific explanation, is divided into two: 1. explaining the six kinds of skillful means for internally cultivating and realizing all Buddha-dharmas, 2. explaining the six kinds of skillful means for externally maturing all sentient beings.
