Within the six parts of the individual explanations (part 4), the fifth, explaining the characteristics of the skillful means of bestowing kindness and repaying kindness, has three parts: 1. general question; 2. detailed answer, which has three parts: i. establishing the substance of kindness, which has two parts: a. presentation, and b. explanation, which has six parts as in the treatise; ii. identifying the person who repays kindness; iii. explaining the meaning of receiving kindness, which has three parts: a. presentation, b. explanation, and c. conclusion; 3. general conclusion.
