Within the five divisions of the third [part], the detailed explanation in prose, the second, explaining the three kinds of falling into determination, is divided into five: 1. general statement; 2. inquiry; 3. listing the names, divided into three as in the treatise; 4. detailed explanation, divided into three: 1) explaining the meaning of abiding in the gotra and falling into determination, divided into four: a. statement, b. explanation, c. inquiry, d. answering the reason; 2) explaining the meaning of generating the bodhicitta and conforming to determination, divided into two: a. statement, b. explanation, divided into two: (a) establishing the cause, (b) displaying the result; 3) explaining the meaning of not practicing in vain and conforming to determination, divided into two: a. statement, b. explanation, divided into two: (a) establishing the cause, (b) displaying the result; 5. explaining the purport of the prophecy.
