三長行廣解分五中第三明五種定所應作義分三。一總標。二徵問。三別釋分五。一依發菩提心明應所作義。二依深生哀愍明應所作義。三依熾然精進明應所作義。四依明處方便明應所作義。五依無有厭倦明應所作義。

Within the five divisions of the third [part], the detailed explanation in prose, the third, explaining the five meanings of what definitely ought to be done, is divided into three: 1. general statement; 2. inquiry; 3. detailed explanation, divided into five: 1. explaining the meaning of what ought to be done based on generating the bodhicitta; 2. explaining the meaning of what ought to be done based on deeply giving rise to pity; 3. explaining the meaning of what ought to be done based on blazing vigor; 4. explaining the meaning of what ought to be done based on skillful means regarding the stations of knowledge; 5. explaining the meaning of what ought to be done based on being free from weariness.
