一明自性慧分三。一總問。二廣答分三　一依安立明自性慧分二。一依勝解地立安立慧。二依淨心地立安立慧　二依自性明自性慧　三依所緣明自性慧分二。一標。二釋分五如論　三明總結。

1. Explaining wisdom by its nature (*svabhāva-prajñā*), divided into three: (1) general question; (2) detailed answer, divided into three: a. explaining *svabhāva-prajñā* in terms of designation, divided into two: establishing designating wisdom on the basis of the stage of resolute conviction (*adhimuktacaryābhūmi*), and establishing designating wisdom on the basis of the stage of pure intention (*śuddhādhyāśayabhūmi*); b. explaining *svabhāva-prajñā* in terms of its nature (*svabhāva*); c. explaining *svabhāva-prajñā* in terms of focal object (*ālambana*), divided into two: setting forth, and explaining, divided into five as in the treatise; (3) general conclusion.
