Of the nine sections of the fourth part, the detailed explanations, the fifth, clarifying the energy of the good person (satpuruṣa-vīrya), has three parts: (1) general inquiry; (2) brief answer; (3) individual explanations, which have five parts: i. clarifying striving energy without abandonment at the initial stage, which has two parts: (i) presentation; (ii) explanation, which has two parts: [a] establishing the cause; [b] revealing the fruit; ii. clarifying preparatory energy without regression in the middle stage, which has two parts: (i) presentation; (ii) explanation, which has two parts: [a] establishing the cause; [b] revealing the fruit; iii. clarifying preparatory energy without inferiority at the final stage, which has two parts: (i) presentation; (ii) explanation, which has two parts: [a] establishing the cause; [b] revealing the fruit; iv. clarifying non-erroneous energy that realizes the supreme fruit, which has two parts: (i) presentation; (ii) explanation, which has two parts: [a] establishing the cause; [b] revealing the fruit; v. clarifying zealous preparatory energy that swiftly advances toward the supreme fruit, which has two parts: (i) presentation; (ii) explanation, which has two parts: [a] establishing the cause; [b] revealing the fruit.
