Of the nine sections of the fourth part, the detailed explanations, the fourth, clarifying all-door energy, has four parts: (1) general inquiry; (2) brief answer; (3) listing the names, which has four [divisions] as in the treatise; (4) individual explanations, which have three parts: i. establishing the first all-door energy that separates from defiled dharmas based on the first two correct striving practices, which has two parts: (i) presentation; (ii) explanation, which has two parts: [a] establishing the cause; [b] revealing the fruit, which has two parts: {i} establishing what is to be eliminated, which has four [divisions] as in the treatise; {ii} establishing the remedies, which has two [divisions] as in the treatise; ii. establishing the second all-door energy that induces pure dharmas based on the latter two correct striving practices, which has two parts: (i) presentation; (ii) explanation, which has two parts: [a] establishing the cause; [b] revealing the fruit, which has two [divisions] as in the treatise; iii. establishing the third and fourth all-door energies of purifying karma and increasing wisdom based on the causes of the previous two, which has two parts: (i) clarifying the energy of purifying karma caused by the first two striving practices, which has two parts: [a] presentation; [b] explanation, which has two parts: {i} establishing the cause; {ii} revealing the fruit, which has two [divisions] as in the treatise; (ii) clarifying the energy of increasing wisdom caused by the latter two striving practices, which has two parts: [a] presentation; [b] explanation, which has two parts: {i} establishing the cause; {ii} revealing the fruit, which has three [divisions] as in the treatise.
