5.84

分十二中第八明依一百一十種苦於諸有情修悲勝利分二。一立因。二顯果分三。一依得勝解行地菩薩遍修一切悲心明勝利。二依得淨意樂地菩薩淨悲意樂明勝利。三依得二地已上菩薩極親厚等六心明勝利。

Within the division into twelve, the eighth, clarifying the benefits of cultivating compassion toward sentient beings based on the one hundred and ten kinds of duḥkha, has two parts: 1. establishing the causes; 2. revealing the results, which has three parts: (1) clarifying the benefits based on a bodhisattva who has attained the Adhimukticaryābhūmi universally cultivating all minds of compassion; (2) clarifying the benefits based on a bodhisattva who has attained the Śuddhādhyāśayabhūmi purifying the intention of compassion; (3) clarifying the benefits based on a bodhisattva who has attained the second bhūmi and above [cultivating] the six minds, such as supreme intimacy.
