初持瑜伽處分十八中第十七明菩提品分三。一總問。二頌略答分十六如論。三長行廣解分十六如下所明。

Within the division of the first Yogasthāna, the [Bodhisattvadhāraṇī-]yogasthāna, into eighteen, the seventeenth, clarifying the factors of awakening, has three parts: 1. general question; 2. brief answer in verse, which has sixteen parts as in the treatise; 3. extensive explanation in prose, which has sixteen parts as clarified below.
