1. Explaining the state of acquisition (prāpti) has two parts: (1) The question has two parts: a. asking about the state; b. asking about the enumeration. (2) The answer has two parts: a. answering regarding the state; b. answering regarding the enumeration has two parts: (a) stating; (b) explaining, which has three parts as in the treatise.
