第七異門依假設等明建立善巧相分二。一依在家品立十四根分二。一立正義分四。一依如是名立眼等六根。二依種姓立男女二根。三依食等立苦等五根。四依長壽等立一命根。二總結　第二依出家品立信等八根分二。一立正義。二結。

The seventh alternative approach explains the characteristics of establishing kauśalya based on nominal designations and so forth, having two parts: 1. establishing fourteen faculties based on the class of householders, with two subparts: (1) establishing the correct meaning, having four points: establishing the six faculties of the eye and the rest based on such names; establishing the two faculties of masculinity and femininity based on lineage; establishing the five faculties of suffering and so forth based on food and so forth; and establishing the single life-faculty based on longevity and so forth; (2) general conclusion; 2. establishing the eight faculties of faith and so forth based on the class of the renunciants, with two subparts: (1) establishing the correct meaning, (2) conclusion.
