Within the fourteen divisions, the eleventh, clarifying the distinctions of the faculties based on the meaning of abandoned by vision and so forth, has two parts: 1. General question, in three parts as in the treatise; 2. Detailed answer, in three parts: (1) answering that one portion of fourteen applies to both cultivation [and vision], in two parts as in the treatise; (2) answering that one portion of twelve applies to both cultivation [and vision], in two parts: a. clarifying abandoned by cultivation, b. clarifying non-abandoned, in two parts: [a] statement, [b] explanation, in three parts as in the treatise; (3) answering the distinctive meanings, in two parts: a. clarifying the distinctive meaning of material faculties, b. clarifying the distinctive meaning of non-material faculties, in two parts: [a] statement, [b] explanation.
