分十四中第十依有學等義明根差別分二。一總問分三如論。二廣答分六。一答九是三學根三學為義。二答七是非學非無學根即彼為義。三答一是三種根非學非無為義。四答一是異生根三種為義。五答二是學根三種為義。六答一是無學根三種為義。

Within the fourteen divisions, the tenth, clarifying the distinctions of the faculties based on the meaning of training and so forth, has two parts: 1. General question, in three parts as in the treatise; 2. Detailed answer, in six parts: (1) answering that nine are faculties of the three trainings, having the three trainings as their referents; (2) answering that seven are faculties of neither training nor beyond training, having that very status as their referent; (3) answering that one is of the three kinds of faculties, having neither training nor non-training as its referent; (4) answering that one is a faculty of ordinary worldlings, having the three kinds as its referents; (5) answering that two are faculties of training, having the three kinds as their referents; (6) answering that one is a faculty beyond training, having the three kinds as its referents.
