分十七中第十一依簡擇等義明根依處差別分四。一總問分四如論。二略答。三別釋經句指文。四明信等五根遍攝餘善根無不盡義。

Under the seventeen divisions, the eleventh [section], clarifying the distinctions among the bases of the faculties based on the meanings of discernment and so forth, is divided into four: 1. general question, divided into four as in the treatise; 2. brief answer; 3. distinct explanations of the sūtra phrases pointing to the text; 4. clarifying the meaning that the five faculties beginning with faith completely subsume the remaining wholesome faculties without exception.
