The seventh [section] among the fourteen divisions, explaining the meaning of grossness and subtlety of the four nutriments, is divided into three: 1. explaining the grossness and subtlety of solid food, divided into two: (1) questioning and (2) answering; 2. explaining the subtle characteristics of solid food, divided into two: (1) questioning and (2) answering, divided into two: a. stating and b. explaining; and 3. explaining the meaning of grossness and subtlety of the remaining three, divided into two: (1) explaining the gross characteristics, divided into two: a. questioning and b. answering; and (2) explaining the subtle characteristics, divided into two: a. questioning and b. answering.
