First, clarifying eye-consciousness is divided into five: 1. Clarifying its svabhāva is divided into two: inquiry; answer. Second, clarifying its āśraya is divided into two: statement; explanation divided into three: clarifying the three āśrayas divided into three: clarifying the sahabhū-āśraya divided into two (statement; explanation); clarifying the samanantara-āśraya divided into two (statement; explanation); clarifying the bīja-āśraya divided into two (statement; explanation); clarifying the analysis divided into three (statement; listing names; explanation); explaining the three factors of the eye and so on divided into three: clarifying the eye; clarifying the samanantara[-āśraya]; clarifying the seeds-consciousness.
