Fifth among the nine [sections] of the extensive answers: explaining the duration of abiding in the womb and related matters, divided into three: 1. Explaining the time limit of abiding in the womb, divided into three: (1) establishing the correct meaning; (2) citing proof; (3) explaining the intention of the sūtras, divided into three: [a] explaining the characteristic of the maximum fulfillment; [b] explaining the complete yet not maximally fulfilled characteristic; [c] explaining the unfulfilled characteristic. 2. Explaining the characteristics of nourishment while abiding in the womb. 3. Distinguishing the differences among the eight stages of abiding in the womb, divided into four: (1) general heading; (2) inquiry; (3) listing of terms, divided into eight as in the treatise; (4) specific explanations, divided into eight as in the treatise.
