In the fourth [section], the detailed explanation, which is divided into nine, the seventh [part], explaining the patience that accords with requests, has five [subdivisions]: 1. General question; 2. Brief answer; 3. Detailed explanation, which has three [parts]: a. Establishing two patiences that accord with requests based on the householder class, having two [divisions]: i. Establishing patience based on dispelling the fruit of suffering, which has two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; ii. Establishing patience based on giving that dispels the cause of suffering, which has two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; b. Establishing one patience that accords with requests based on the monastic class, which has two [aspects]: establishing the cause and showing the fruit; c. Establishing five patiences that accord with requests based on both the householder and monastic classes, which has two [divisions]: i. General indication; ii. Detailed explanation, having three [parts]: (a) Establishing one patience based on dispelling suffering, which has two [aspects]: establishing the object of remedy and establishing the remedy; (b) Establishing three patiences based on accomplishing happiness, having three [aspects]: establishing patience based on seeking the Dharma, establishing patience based on practicing the Dharma in accordance with the Dharma, and establishing patience based on expounding the Dharma; (c) Establishing one patience based on being a companion; 4. General summary; 5. Explaining the name of the patience that accords with requests, which has two [parts]: a. Explaining the correct meaning, having two [divisions]: i. Establishing the name based on dispelling suffering, which has two [aspects]: establishing the object of remedy and establishing the remedy; ii. Establishing the name based on fulfilling wishes, which has two [aspects]: establishing the person who seeks and establishing the person who gives; b. Summary.
