善唯有一謂一切地者。然一切地有其二種。若前九地名一切地。輕安非欲非一切地。若有尋等名一切地。輕安即通於初靜慮。有尋伺地有輕安故。

Regarding 'Wholesomeness has only one, which means all stages': however, 'all stages' has two senses. If the former nine stages are called 'all stages,' pliancy is not in the kāma [realm] and is not of all stages. If [the stages] with inquiry and so forth are called 'all stages,' pliancy extends to the first dhyāna, because the stage with inquiry and investigation possesses pliancy.
