謂於諸見及所依蘊等者。執所起見是為最勝能得清淨。見既如是。依身起見。此見所依五蘊之身。亦是最勝能得清淨。既執自身為勝能淨。則於他見執為下劣非勝能淨。從此即起種種鬪諍。故此見取即是鬪諍法。

As for "grasping views and their basis, the aggregates, etc.": grasping the views one has generated as supreme and capable of attaining purity. Since the view is so, and the view is generated based on the body, the body of five aggregates upon which this view relies is also supreme and capable of attaining purity. Grasping one's own body as supreme and capable of purifying, one then grasps the views of others as base, not supreme, and incapable of purifying. From this arise various disputes; therefore, this clinging to views (dṛṣṭiparāmarśa) is precisely a factor of disputation.
