總緣諸行執我我所斷常慢等者。此顯我見邊見及慢得緣上義。此三煩惱約俱生者不能別緣。總緣上界為我我所執斷執常。持彼地法而生於慢。

As for "generally taking formations as object to grasp self, what belongs to self, annihilation, permanence, conceit, etc.": this reveals the meaning that the view of self, extreme views, and conceit are able to take the higher [stages] as object. Regarding the innate [varieties], these three afflictions cannot take [individual dharmas] separately as object; they generally take the higher realm as object as self or what belongs to self, grasp annihilation or permanence, and holding the dharmas of that stage, conceit arises.
