依有頂地遊觀無漏等者。遊觀無漏即二乘人後無漏智苦法忍等。皆是正智而能證理斷諸煩惱。其後得智即無此能。又不同於諸菩薩等觀眾生心而為說法。但可將為遊履觀察一切觀門。與無漏定而為加行。而此無漏屬有頂地。依有頂地心後得故。今此滅定既是無漏。以此無漏為加行入。

Regarding "in reliance on the stage of the peak of existence, entering the contemplation of the uncontaminated, etc.": the contemplation of the uncontaminated refers to the subsequent uncontaminated wisdom of the practitioners of the two vehicles, the forbearance of dharma regarding suffering, and so forth; these are all correct wisdom that can realize principle and sever various afflictions. The subsequently attained wisdom lacks this ability. Furthermore, it is not like that of the bodhisattvas who contemplate the minds of sentient beings to explain the Dharma for them; it can only be used to traverse and observe all contemplative approaches, serving as the preparatory application for uncontaminated meditative absorption. Moreover, this uncontaminated [wisdom] belongs to the stage of the peak of existence, because it is subsequently attained based on the mind of the peak of existence. Now, since this absorption of cessation is uncontaminated, one enters it using this uncontaminated [wisdom] as the preparatory application.
