二有間斷在第六識等者。謂第六識強分別故。或總執五蘊以之為我。我別執諸蘊為我我所。以第六識三性易脫。於善心時無我執故。故所執我不恒相續有間斷也。

"Second, having interruption, occurring in the sixth consciousness, and so forth": Because the sixth consciousness discriminates intensely, it either collectively grasps the five aggregates as a self, or distinctively grasps the various aggregates as self and mine. Because the sixth consciousness easily shifts among the three moral natures and lacks grasping at a self during wholesome states of mind, the grasped self is not perpetually continuous and has interruptions.
