二緣邪教所說有我自性等相等者。即諸外道邪教所說說有我者即是人我。自性即是數論冥諦。等即等取勝論六句。此等皆是所說法我。以此邪教所說為緣起自心相執為實我。

"Second, conditioning the marks of existing self, primordial nature (prakṛti), and so forth taught by erroneous teachings, and so forth": That is, what is taught by the erroneous teachings of the various non-Buddhists: those that state there is a self mean the pudgala-ātman; "primordial nature" is the primordial principle (pradhāna) of the Sāṃkhya; "and so forth" encompasses the six categories (padārtha) of the Vaiśeṣika. All of these are the dharma-ātman taught [by them]. Taking what is taught by these erroneous teachings as a condition, they give rise to images of their own minds and grasp them as a real self.
