眼識種子隨眼種生等者。謂根境識三種種子。眼根種起眼識種生。根種不生識種不起。不隨色種眼識種起。

Regarding 'The seed of the eye consciousness arises following the seed of the eye [faculty]', and so forth: among the three kinds of seeds of faculty, object, and consciousness, when the seed of the eye faculty arises, the seed of the eye consciousness is produced; if the seed of the faculty does not arise, the seed of consciousness does not arise. The seed of the eye consciousness does not arise following the seed of form.
