論。分別發趣至趣向義故　述曰。上來已明對治邪執。次下第三發趣道相。於中有二。初標意顯名。後別開分別。此初也。取證道者。即是真如。此是佛智所證道故。趣向義者。釋其道名。此所證理是諸菩薩所趣向義故名為道。欲明菩薩發心修行趣向諸佛取證之道故。名分別發趣道相。

[Treatise:] "Differentiating the marks of setting forth on the path: [because it means setting forth...]" [Commentary:] Above, countering erroneous attachments was clarified. Next, the third section concerns the marks of setting forth on the path. Within this there are two: first, indicating the intent and revealing the name; second, individually opening up the distinctions. This is the first. The "path of realizing": this is suchness, because this is the path realized by the Buddha's wisdom. "The meaning of setting forth": this explains the name of the path. This realized principle is that toward which all bodhisattvas set forth, and is therefore called the path. Wanting to clarify the bodhisattvas' generating the aspiration and practicing to set forth toward the path realized by all buddhas, it is therefore called "differentiating the marks of setting forth on the path."
