論。復次至略說有二種　述曰。上明信心成就之行。下顯行成發之相。於中有二。初正明發心。後問答釋疑。前中有二。初問起標數。後依標顯相。此初也。

[Treatise:] Furthermore... briefly stated, there are two kinds.
[Exposition:] The preceding explained the practice of fulfilling faith; the following reveals the characteristics of the aspiration generated upon the completion of practice. Within this, there are two parts: first, directly explaining the generation of aspiration; later, questions and answers resolving doubts. The former has two parts: first, raising the question to indicate the number; later, revealing the characteristics according to what was indicated. This is the first.
