論。已說解釋分次說修行信心分　述曰。次明第四修行信心分。於中有二。初結前起後。後正顯修行信心。此初也。上顯大乘明解釋分。今明起信故次應說修行信心。

[Treatise:] The section on explanation has been explained; next, the section on the cultivation of faith will be explained. [Commentary:] Next, clarifying the fourth, the section on the cultivation of faith. Within this there are two parts: first, concluding what precedes and introducing what follows; afterwards, directly revealing the cultivation of faith. This is the first. Above, the Mahāyāna was revealed, clarifying the section on explanation; now, clarifying the awakening of faith, the section on the cultivation of faith should next be explained.
