論。或令人知之名利之事　述曰。此第二所得通辯對。知宿命等。顯得三通。辨等已下顯成四辨。

[Treatise:] Or they cause a person to know [past lives...] matters of fame and profit. [Exposition:] This is the second: the pair of acquired supernormal knowledges and eloquence. Knowing past lives and so forth shows the attainment of the three knowledges. From eloquence on down shows the accomplishment of the four analytical knowledges.
