論。八者其心至他人所惱　述曰。有高傲者輕蔑於他。為他輕忍便生惱恨。心調順者謙下於他。為人所敬不為惱也。

[Treatise:] Eighth, one's mind [... harassed by others]. [Exposition:] Those who are haughty look down upon others; being treated with contempt by others, they then give rise to resentment and vexation. Those whose minds are subdued are humble toward others; being respected by others, they are not harassed.
