論。是故眾生至不應誹謗 述曰。此誡勸心謗也。由是毀謗獲大罪故。縱未曾聞不堪思修。但可仰信。不應誹謗。
[Treatise:] "Therefore, sentient beings […] should not slander it." / [Exposition:] This is the admonition to halt slander. Since slander incurs such a great sin, even if one has never heard it before and is incapable of pondering or cultivating it, one should only revere it with faith and should not slander it.
